Volunteers from many backgrounds have helped develop this educational resource. Experience in nursing is helpful but not essential.

We use Creative Commons licensing and an on-line repository to share this Open Educational Resource (OER)

In this phase of the project, we need help to:

  • 1.

Develop the Classroom Teaching Resources (e.g. prepare teacher notes for the lectures; develop case studies and exercises; develop student assessment materials).

  • 2.

Develop the Program Resources (e.g. develop clinical assessment tools; link objectives in each course with international competencies for BSN graduates).

  • 3.

Enhance the Student Learning Resources with recorded lectures, demonstration videos and interactive materials

Later phases of the project will involve enhancing and supplementing the material as well as evaluating how it is being used in various settings.

We also plan to develop a network or community of practice with nurse educators and others who are interested in the on-going development of this educational resource.

Our project is mostly supported by donation. If you wish to contribute financially to this project  please email us. We continue to seek external funding and appreciate any advice to identify potential sources.

The Commonwealth of Learning supported early development of this OER.

We are grateful for on-going support from UNESCO/COL Chair in Open Educational Resources.
